Can 'o' Worms 1b

This is a mishmash of various images from my sketchbook that did not fit with other subjects. Think of it as the remainder from an equation.
Originally a 30"x40" painting, it was done in all black and white, no grays. I took a couple of photos of it to post online and the lighting was horrible. In the process of trying to fix it I got the idea to leave it all gray and to digitally accentuate the lights and darks. Here's what happened!
